Fuel Price Hike! Petrol prices cross ₹ 100 mark in Delhi, Kolkata

Petrol prices hiked again on Wednesday pushing the price of fuel over the Rs 100 mark in Delhi and Kolkata. Petrol prices have been hiked by 39 paise marking the 39th hike in fuel prices since May 3. 

Petrol retails at the highest in Mumbai above the Rs 105 mark amongst metros. 15 states and UTs now have petrol priced above the Rs 100 mark. 10 state capitals, Kolkata being the latest now have the 100-mark at petrol pumps.

From a price of Rs 90.40 a litre on May 1, petrol rose by a steep Rs 9.81 per litre in the last 68 days in the national capital. Likewise, diesel prices in the capital also hiked by Rs 8.80 a litre in the past two months.
