In a video that has now gone viral on social media a pet cat, named Soni stopped a cobra from entering her owner’s house in the Kapilas area of Odisha capital Bhubaneswar.
The cat is seen sitting in what appeared to be the courtyard as the cobra stood still in an attempt to enter. It kept a watch in order to prevent the cobra from entering the house and harming the inhabitants.
The cat retreated only when a man from the rescue team arrived at the spot and managed to pick up the cobra with the help of the stick.
