Pakistan blocked access to all social media on Friday, after days of anti-French protests across the country by Islamist gruops opposed to Prophet's cartoons.

Govt officials said that Twitter, Facebook and other social media sites have been temporarily blocked on orders from the country’s interior ministry.

On Thursday, the French embassy in Pakistan advised all of its nationals and companies to temporarily leave the country due to anti-France protests.
