Oppo has unveiled the Oppo X 2021 concept smartphone at its Inno Day 2020 event, that features a continuously variable rollable OLED display.

The device uses Oppo’s proprietary Roll Motor powertrain to expand the regular 6.7-inch display to a bigger tablet-like 7.4-inch size depending on the content or use case.

Oppo says it has managed to achieve a zero-crease screen and uses a proprietary Warp Track high-strength screen laminate to add some strength to the display.

Oppo has said the the X 2021 is a concept, and it currently has no plans of selling the device.
