Bengal BJP President Dilip Ghosh has asked TMC to sack its MP Nusrat Jahan if she doesn't resign from the Lok Sabha following a controversy over her marital status. Ghosh said that the actor has shamed Indian culture by denying her marriage after addressing a man as her husband and also inviting the CM to her wedding reception.
Nusrat Jahan had recently issued a statement saying that her marriage with businessman Nikhil Jain was legally valid in India as they had got it registered after their traditional nuptials in Turkey in 2019.
Several BJP leaders have accused her of lying about her marital status in the Parliament and have sought her resignation over it.
