Now, book Covid vaccine slot on WhatsApp. Here's how to do it

As India looks to perk up the Covid vaccination drive, the government on Tuesday announced a new facility to book vaccine slots via WhatsApp.

Health minister Mansukh Mandaviya tweeted that vaccine slots can now be booked within minutes using WhatsApp.

Here's how one can book a vaccine slot

Step 1. Add 9013151515 as a contact on your phone
Step 2. Send 'Book Slot' to this number on WhatsApp
Step 3. Enter six-digit OTP you receive on SMS
Step 4. Choose youe preferred date, location, pin code and vaccine
Step 5. Get confirmation. And you are done.

The government earlier this month had introduced the facility of getting vaccination certificate via WhatsApp.
