US President-elect Joe Biden introduced an environmental team on Saturday in hopes that it will steer America towards greater action to curb climate change and protect the nation's air and water.
Biden said these nominees will lead his administration’s “ambitious plan to address an existential threat of climate change’. The nominees introduced include Representative Deb Haaland as the new interior secretary.
"We literally have no time to waste," Biden added and emphasised on rejoining the Paris climate accord, which President Donald Trump had abandoned.
