Speaking during the Congress Working Committee meeting, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi slammed the Narendra Modi government saying there is no strategy in place to fight the Covid-19 pandemic amid a surge in infections. He further said that the government has no vaccination strategy and no oxygen supply strategy. Senior Congress leaders, Digvijaya Singh and Pramod Tiwari agreed with what Rahul had to say. This is the first time the CWC has called a meeting exclusively to discuss the country's situation during the resurgence of coronavirus cases.
