There will be no Covid-19 vaccinations in Mumbai today as the vaccines stock has run out. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation said on Wednesday that the vaccination drive will be suspended on Thursday at all the 342 centres run by the civic body and the Maharashtra government.
The decision to suspend the vaccination drive on Thursday was taken due to the unavailability of a sufficient number of vaccines, the civic body said in a release.
The civic body said it was expecting to receive vaccines anytime throughout the day on June 3. Thereafter, the inoculation drive will resume on Friday.
