Night curfew imposed in Noida till April 17 as Covid-19 cases spike

Uttar Pradesh's Gautam Budh Nagar administration has imposed a night curfew in the district from 10 pm to 5 am effective immediately till April 17. Restrictions kick in, in the city of Noida as well.

All government and private educational institutes, except medical, para-medical and nursing institutes, will remain closed for physical classes along with coaching institutes.

However, all exams including practicals shall be held as per schedule and students appearing for them are exempted from this regulation order.

There will be strict enforcement on mask wearing and other Covid protocols in public places, including at workplaces, by police and other concerned departments. 

All movement of essential goods and commodities and essential and medical services has been exempted from the night curfew.
