The new Saudi ownership of Newcastle United has appointed Eddie Howe as its new manager on Monday. He is tasked with trying to keep the Premier League club Newcastle out of the relegation zone.

Howe has been out of management since leaving Bournemouth after being relegated in 2020, having guided the team into the top division for the first time and staying 5 years.
