Netflix bags rights of Idris Elba's 'Concrete Cowboys'

Streaming giant Netflix has bagged the worldwide rights of Hollywood actor Idris Elba's upcoming film 'Concrete Cowboys'.

The film features 'Stranger Things' actor Caleb McLaughlin and Jharrel Jerome and will premiere in 2021.

Directed by Ricky Staub, the film is based on the novel Ghetto Cowboy by Greg Neri which is inspired by a black urban horsemanship community that existed in Philadelphia for more than 100 years, providing a safe haven for the neighbourhood.
