In an urgent NATO meeting on Friday, Germany briefed 29 nations on the Navalny poisoning case. NATO called for an international probe into the poisoning of Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny. In a presser, post the meeting the alliance chief said all countries have united to condemn the "horrific" attack on Navalny.
The NATO chief said there was "proof beyond doubt" that Novichok was used. NATO has also demanded Moscow must reveal its Novichok nerve agent programme to the global chemical weapons watchdog.
Meanwhile, European leaders have threatened fresh sanctions against Moscow
