Myanmar: Army shoots 10 more protesters, toll up to 70

Myanmar's security forces shot to death at least 10 more people protesting the military's coup on Thursday. The latest killing take death toll in army crack down on protesters to 70, according to the UN experts. The brutal crackdown came even as UN Security Council appealed to Myanmar junta to stop using lethal force. The military has also lodged a new allegation against the deposed leader Aung San Suu Kyi, who is under arrest since the February 1 coup. The army has alleged that in 2017-18 she was illegally given USD 600,000 and gold bars by a political ally.
