Armoured vehicles have rolled into Myanmar cities and internet access has been largely cut off amid fears of a crackdown on anti-coup protesters. Myanmar has seen massive protests against the military takeover over the past many days. Some activists posted videos of military trucks roaming around in residential areas for the first time since the coup. Earlier on Sunday, ambassadors to Myanmar called on the junta to refrain from violence against demonstrators and civilians. The envoys also issued a joint statement denouncing the detentions of political leaders and activists.
