Mukesh Ambani sets sight on global payments platform with Google and Facebook

Reports indicate that India's richest man Mukesh Ambani is set to give Visa, Mastercard some competition as Reliance looks at a global payment platform option with Google and Facebook. 

Sources have told the Economic Times that Jio Payments Bank is exploring the option of making these services available overseas as well. Reports indicate Reliance will hold 40% in the unit with Google and Facebook holding 20% each and Infibeam having the residual 20% stake.
