Michelle Obama to launch cooking show for kids on Netflix

Michelle Obama is launching a children's food show on Netflix, along with a 'pair of puppets' on March 16.

Titled 'Waffles + Mochi' the former first lady said on Instagram that it will be about discovering, cooking and eating good food.

Obama will be a regular in the series, that will have 20-minute episodes with live action. As per a press release, the show will center around two puppet best friends who dream of becoming chefs and travel the world, in search of ingredients and making dishes alongside  renowned chefs, celebrities, home cooks and kids.

The show is produced by Higher Ground Productions, the company owned by the Obamas.
