The first wife of Anurag Kashyap, Aarti Bajaj has come out in support of the filmmaker who has been accused by actress Payal Ghosh for sexual harassment.
Taking to Instagram, Aarti posted a note describing the #MeToo allegations against Kashyap as the 'cheapest stunts' she has seen so far. Calling him a rockstar, she asked him to keep inspiring.
Sharing a heartfelt post for the director, actress Radhika Apte too stated that she feels extremely secure in Kashyap's presence and called him one of her closest friends.
Meanwhile, Anurag Kashyap’s lawyer Priyanka Khimani has issued an official statement and said that Anurag Kashyap is deeply pained by the false allegations of sexual misconduct.
