Manipur is battling massive wildfire that is raging in Dzuko Valley for 3 days. Chief minister N Biren Singh, who conducted an aerial survey of the area on Thursday said that fire has spread quite extensively and caused serious damage in mountain range. The Fire service, Forest official and volunteers have been deployed to battle the blaze. Home minister Amit Shah on Friday spoke to the chief minister to take stock of the crisis and assured him all central help. The CM said that the state govt is taking help from all concerned authorities to stop the spread of the fire and save the deep forest portion of the valley.
