During his two-hours-long meeting with Chinese foreign minister Wang Yi in Moscow, external affairs minister S Jaishankar conveyed India's concerns over provocative behaviour of Chinese soldiers on the LAC. News agency reported, quoting govt sources, that the Indian side highlighted its concerns over the massing of Chinese troops with equipment along the LAC. The Indian side pointed out that the presence of large number of troops was not in accordance with the 1993 and 1996 agreements. It was pointed out that Chinese amassing of troops has created flashpoints along the LAC and China has not provided any credible explanation for this deployment.
