Manchester City now target Ronaldo after Harry Kane decides to stay with Tottenham

As the deadline day for transfer approaches, another set of rumours took flight as multiple media outlets in the United Kingdom reported that Manchester City is open to the prospect of signing Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo from Serie A club Juventus. These rumours began after Harry Kane confirmed his stay at Tottenham for this season.

There has been intense speculation of a potential move by Manchester City as they look for a striker after the departure of Sergio Aguero to Barcelona. Ronaldo’s contract expires next summer, and Juventus wants to sell him to save the 500,000-pound a week salary. Reports suggest that Manchester City intend to bring Ronaldo back to the Premier League with a free transfer and is willing to provide him with a two-year contract with an annual salary of 12.8 million pounds.
