After a sweeping victory in the hotly contested Bengal election, forty-three members of the Mamata Banerjee led Trinamool Congress were sworn in on Monday at the Raj Bhavan in Kolkata. The swearing-in ceremony conducted by West Bengal governor Jagdeep Dhankar was low-key affair due to the Covid-19 emergency.  Mamata Banerjee took charge as the Chief Minister of West Bengal for her third term on May 6.
