The couple tied the knot at a private ceremony at her home in Birmingham and shared lovely pictures of their nikah. We all know Malala very well. But who is Asser Malik. Here is all you need to know about him.

• Prior to taking on a job with Pakistan’s Cricket Board, Asser had a role in an amateur cricket league
