A record spike of 24,886 new cases on Friday took Maharashtra's tally of Covid-19 cases to over 10 lakh. With total fatalities reaching 28,724 of the state, 393 deaths were reported across the state.
Maharashtra's recovery rate of Covid-19 patients is 70.4 per cent and fatality rate is 2.83 per cent as per health officials.

More than 16 lakh people are in home quarantine and 38,487 in institutional quarantine in the state.
