Lovelyz go their own way! 7 out of 8 members of Kpop girlgroup refuse to re-sign contract

Bad news for Lovelyz fans! 

Woollim Entertainment’s first girl group, Lovelyz are disbanding after 7 years together. 

The 8 member girl group confirmed on Monday that 7 of the members will be leaving to pursue 'different beginnings at new places'. Only one member, Baby Soul has renewed her contract with Woollim. Seven members Jiae, Jisoo, Mijoo, Kei, Jin, Sujeong, and Yein will be leaving the company after their contracts expire on November 16, 2021.

The members of Lovelyz each handwrote letters to their fans 'Lovelinus'.

Lovelyz debuted in November 2014 with “Candy Jelly Love.” Their most recent comeback was in September 2020 with “Obliviate.”
