Wondering how the Google Doodle works? Check it out!

For the Google Doodle to work you need to select a chemical element. You can select 4 options:

• Bond with other elements
• Read a brief summary of all the elements
• Swipe right to bond with an element
• Swipe left to form a bond with a different element

Alternatively, you can choose the quiz option. It allows one to find and match with an element that's most compatible with their personality. Google's Valentine Doodle has a swipe-right option, much like the dating app tinder. You can browse through other elements, each with their own unique personality traits.

Will Hydrogen be the perfect match and will you reject Sodium? Try the Google Doodle to find out!

Last year's Valentine's Day doodle was also an interactive 3D game featuring two hamsters separated by a maze in the shape of Google's logo. "Can you piece their path together and clear the way for them to scamper into each other's precious paws?," the doodle's message read.
