Yoga capital Rishikesh to host International Yoga Festival 2024 from March 15-21

The 'yoga capital of the world' Rishikesh is organising the International Yoga Festival 2024 on the serene bank of the holy Ganges from March 15th to 21st. 

During this week-long event, the Yog Bharat Ghat in Muni Ki Reti will serve as the epicentre for spiritual enlightenment and physical well-being, hosting yoga gurus, spiritual speakers, as well as health and fitness experts. 

This event is organised by the Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board which offers a distinctive chance for participants to immerse themselves in the ancient practice of yoga. 

All about the Event 

Esteemed personalities including Swami Sukhabodhananda, Dr. Hester O'Connor, S. Sridharan, Douglas Atmananda Rexford, Swamy Ajay Rana, and Anshuka Parwani will be present at the event, offering their wisdom to nurture holistic well-being. Through a captivating mix of yoga sessions, spiritual discourse, and expert advice, participants will embark on a transformative path towards vitality and enlightenment.

At the event, expert panels will delve into various subjects including the advantages of music therapy, the science of intuition via Pragya Yog, Marm Chikitsa, Yoga, and Strishakti. Each evening, the tranquil Ganga aarti will evoke a mystical atmosphere, complemented by soulful melodies conveying reverence and adoration for the divine. Renowned musical bands such as Kabir Cafe and Pandavas Band, fusion beats by Swaraag, Kathak performances by Aditi Mangal Das, Dance Ballet by Anuj Mishra, and others will be showcased.
