Book lovers! Get ready and list down the books you need to buy as the National Book Trust of India is set to host the 51st New Delhi World Book Fair in Delhi.
The New Delhi World Book Fair will take place from February 10th to 18th at Pragati Maidan. The timings of the fair will be 11 AM to 8 PM.
The theme of the New Delhi World Book Fair 2024 is "Multi-Lingual India, A Living Tradition".
This year India has invited the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as the guest of honour.
The key features of the upcoming New Delhi World Book Fair include themed pavilions, dedicated areas for children, international events sections, author showcases, cultural performances, digital reading initiatives, and discussions led by industry leaders.
The fair aims to facilitate business opportunities for exhibitors within the expanding book market while also promoting literacy and fostering growth in the publishing sector. Notably, this year's event will spotlight the National Education Policy 2020's focus on improving children's language abilities, with a particular emphasis on enhancing listening, speaking, writing, and reading skills.
