A TikTok user shared a tip for using Google Flights to find cheaper travel destinations.
A travel influencer posted a clip about how she discovered a little-known Google “cheat code’ to find the cheapest flights to anywhere in the world.
Simply start by clicking on Google Flights. Enter your departure point, type the word 'anywhere' as your destination. Leave the departure and return dates empty, and click the explore button. Get a list of destinations with the lowest ticket fares and book your much-needed break.
Within one day of posting the video, it has amassed 4 million views and more than 201,000 ‘saves’ by people planning to give the hack a go.
Some viewers were acquainted with Google Flights but hadn't come across the 'anywhere hack.' One viewer shared, "I frequently travel and rely on Google Flights, but the 'to anywhere' tip is new to me. Thanks for sharing!
Another user mentioned that using incognito mode could make the fares even cheaper, and a third recommended searching for flights on Tuesday or Wednesday around midnight, as well as using incognito mode for better deals.
