In a life full of rat races, me-time is important. Spending time with ourselves, following a hobby or just self-pampering is what we all need from time to time.
However, a recent study by University at Buffalo finds how a person’s me-time affects their socialising traits.
The study was conducted on 411 people aged between 18-26 who submitted daily reports on their usage of phones, time spent alone and how they felt about social interactions.
It was concluded that for some social interactions might feel better after spending time alone while for some alone time affects the way they interact with others. The study also mentioned that further research is required to find out what exactly causes these behaviours.
