Are you someone who talks while sleeping? Well, this is called sleep talking also known as 'somniloquy'. There are multiple health reports that suggest that sleep talking is caused by stress and fatigue.
However, now Dr DS Martolia, Head Professor, Community Medicine, Government Medical College in conversation with News18 said that by making some minor lifestyle changes a person can easily deal with sleep talking.
As per health experts, people who have a habit of talking during their sleep should avoid the consumption of caffeine in excessive amounts.
Alcohol has a direct impact on the brain and that is likely to trigger the sleep talking. Thus, doctors advise that those who sleep talk should eliminate alcohol from their life.
Health experts say that meditation might help to relax the body. Whereas, excessive stress can trigger sleep talking. Thus, having a calm and relaxed attitude towards things is likely to help in the longer run.
