Madhya Pradesh boy shares his experience of living with werewolf syndrome; know more about it

A teenage boy from the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh is suffering from a rare medical condition called 'werewolf syndrome'. The 17-year-old boy, Lalit was born with this skin condition and now his pictures are recirculating on the internet. 

He has shared his experience of living with this syndrome and said that the doctors noticed abnormal hair growth on every part of his body when he was just 6 years old and that's when he was diagnosed with this syndrome, medically called hypertrichosis. 

What is hypertrichosis?

Hypertrichosis is a condition where there is excess production of hair, either in one specific body part or all over the body. 

According to medical science, it is a genetic disease but science has not been able to fully diagnose the causes behind this rare condition.
