If you are among those who don't get time to hit the gym every day, then there is a good news for you!
According to a study published in European Heart Journal, 2 minutes of vigorous physical activity 15 minutes a week can reduce the risk of early death, cancer and heart disease.
For the study, researchers enrolled 71,893 adults without any evidence of cardiovascular disease or cancer. They analysed associations between how much and how often people undertook vigorous physical activity.
The team found that participants who did no vigorous workouts had a 4% risk of dying within five years. This risk was halved to 2% with less than 10 minutes of weekly vigorous activity and to 1% when people worked out for 60 minutes or more.
