Whatever the reason may be, hiccups are irritating if they do not stop in a while.
Recently, Yoga expert Juhi Kapoor shared an asana to stop hiccups. It's called 'Apana Vayu Mudra' and to do it she is seen placing her index finger at the base of her thumb and joining the latter's tip to her middle and ring fingers. Doing, this asana for about 10 minutes will stop hiccups.
Apart from this, drinking enough water and diverting your mind helps too. Hiccups are also believed to stop if someone startles or scares you.
