Here's some good news for all the coffee lovers out there! Your morning cup of coffee could help you live longer, according to new research.

Data of more than 1,70,000 adults in the UK has revealed that those who drink between two and four cups of coffee each day, appear to live longer lives compared to those who don’t sip java. The analysis was published in the journal of Internal Medicine.

For about seven years, the researchers tracked the coffee consumption and health of participants. They found that those who regularly drank 2 to 4 cups of coffee a day, regardless of added sugar, were 30% less likely to die in that time frame from any cause.

Over the years, research has also revealed a variety of health benefits of coffee, linking its consumption to a reduced risk of Type 2 diabetes, Parkinson’s disease, depression and more.
