According to a study published in the journal Nature Medicine, drinking any amount of alcohol could increase the risk of developing at least one of more than 60 diseases.

Oxford University researchers found that even occasional drinkers are at a higher risk of developing certain conditions. The study was conducted on 512,000 participants for a period of 12 years.

As per researchers, alcohol intake even in moderation may lead to conditions including stomach and lung cancers, gastric ulcers and gout. Hence, no amount of alcohol is good for your health.
