Due to increased screen time these days, our eyes suffer a lot and we hardly do anything to take care of them.

Recently, Ayurveda expert Dr. Rekha Radhamony shared a post on Instagram stating the habits we must adopt to take better care of our eyes.

  • Avoid using warm water to wash your eyes; instead use cold or room-temperature water.
  • We often tend to overuse eyedrops. We should avoid it as that might leave our eyes dry and itchy.
  • When we are glued to our phones we often forget to blink and blinking is the most effective way to avoid strain and dryness.
  • Our eyes have a thin layer of the conjunctiva which protects them and rubbing our eyes too hard might damage them.
  • People use hot eye masks at night, instead leaving your eyes free to breathe is a good idea.
