You must have had gajar halwa, but what about beetroot halwa? This festive season we will give you a special recipe for delicious and healthy beetroot halwa shared on Instagram by a page named Satvik Movement.
To make this, heat grated beetroot in a vessel for 10 minutes. Then add nutmeg, cinnamon and cardamom to it. Add almond milk to make the halwa creamy and add jaggery to it. After mixing all these, cook it on high flame till the milk is absorbed.
After this, turn off the gas and add a pinch of salt and grated coconut to it and keep it covered for 5 minutes. Garnish the halwa with some dry fruits on top and serve.
