The latest addition features shredded snake meat, black mushrooms, and Chinese dried ham as essential components of an authentic snake stew as reported by CNN. This has created a buzz online, irking some.

Some diners in Hong Kong and around southern China have long enjoyed snake stew, especially during the colder months.

Many believe that snake meat has medicinal properties, improving skin conditions and warming up the body.

A prevalent culinary tradition centered around snakes exists in various regions of Southeast Asia, including Vietnam and Thailand, where snakes are typically raised for food.
