Cucumber consists of 95 per cent water, so it helps fulfil the requirement of water in our body. It is also rich in fibre, magnesium and potassium, due to which one's blood pressure remains under control.

Moreover, cucumbers should be eaten with peel as the fibre present in them helps in better digestion and also provides relief from constipation.  

Cucumber works wonders even for your skin. Placing cucumber slices under the eyes helps in rejuvenation and makes one feel relaxed. It also helps in getting rid of skin irritation, swollen face and redness.
