Winters and gajar ka halwa go hand in hand for almost every dessert loving Indian. Well, if you too love gajar ka halwa but feel guilty about having it then we are here to lessen that guilt a bit. Gajar ka halwa is not only rich in taste but has health benefits too.

Carrots are rich in vitamin A, C and fibre and are thus, good for skin, eyes and improve immune system.

With milk, nuts and ghee as its key ingredients, gajar ka halwa provides warmth in this chilly weather. These ingredients are also packed with nutrients like protien, vitamins, calcium and potassium 

Beneficial for bones and skin 

Carrots are rich in potassium, calcium and phosphorus which aids in strong bones. Vitamin A and beta carotene in carrots reduces skin blemishes and rashes. 

Boosts immunity 

Vitamin C rich carrots provides immunity and nuts and ghee present in gajar ka halwa adds to it.  

So, enjoy gajar ka halwa without guilt. But remember to eat in portions and not indulge on too much of it at once.
