Move over sunscreen, beauty enthusiasts are now incorporating SPF flooding into their skincare routine. The viral beauty trend involves the application of various SPF products to achieve optimal sun protection.

The term SPF layering refers to combining sunscreen with SPF-infused makeup, moisturisers, and even anti-aging solutions. And the main character in this trend is sunscreen, preferably SPF 30 or higher.

As per Dermatologist Dr. Manasi Shirolikar, using multiple products with SPF essentially means your skin will get better coverage from the sun and the tendency to reapply sunscreen would also be less frequent.

She also recommended using all products containing mineral filters such as titam dioniuxide, iron oxide and zinc oxide.

Sunscreen layering will make sure that when you use different products with SPF, your skin gets total protection from the sun. It will also keep your skin safe from the sun's harmful rays and any kind of damage.

However, according to skin expert Manasi, sunscreen layering isn't advisable for those with acne-prone, oily, or sensitive skin.
