Dermatologist shares skincare mistakes you must avoid before and after working out

No doubt, physical fitness is important but maintaining healthy and glowing skin is also essential. While working out at home or at the gym we tend to forget certain things which can trigger acne on our skin.

Recently, dermatologist Gurveen Waraich shared common mistakes we tend to make before and after exercising. Here take a note.

  • Never apply makeup before exercising as it can get absorbed in our skin through sweat.
  • Avoid rubbing your face with a towel multiple times, either dab or use facial tissue.
  • Always wash your face and take a bath immediately post-workout.
    Touching the face frequently during a workout can trigger skin problems.

On the other hand, she also suggested that whey protein may aggravate acne so it's better to switch to vegan protein.
