Alaya F shares a step-by-step guide to a sleek and stylish bun for the sticky season

From skincare to detox drinks to yoga asanas; Alaya F never fails to impress her fans with useful Instagram posts. Recently, the Bollywood actor shared a classic hairdo perfect for the sticky season. 

Here's a step-by-step on how to recreate this hairstyle: 

Step 1: Gather your tresses into a ponytail and secure them tightly with a hair tie.

Step 2: Now, take a hair spray and use it with a help of a backcombing brush to settle your baby hair on the front. Swift and smooth motions in the backward direction are the trick for a sleek look. Repeat the same process on both sides. 

Step 3: Begin wrapping your hair in a clockwise direction and secure the bun with a rubber band. 

Step 4: This is optional. Pull out a couple of thin strands of hair just above your ears to soften the look and frame your face.

The actor also shared some tips that will make sure your bun looks sleek and tidy, take notes! 

• You can also use a toothbrush if you don’t have a backcombing brush
• If your hair is stubborn, use hair wax instead of hairspray, it has a better hold and a sleeker finish but it’ll make your hair a little sticky
• Eyeshadow that matches hair colour can be used to fill in areas of the scalp showing
