Certified infant swimming instructor, Nikki Scarnati, recently shared a video on TikTok warning parents about the dangers of their kids wearing swimwear matching the colour of the water as they could be too camouflaged to be rescued in case of any mishap.
Scarnati’s video shows her daughter swimming in a blue swimsuit. Even though her head is visible on the surface of the water, the bluish hue of her swimwear is merging with the water making it difficult for anyone at a distance to be able to notice her. The video has garnered over 4.6 million views and has received positive responses from parents.
