Krishna Janmashtami 2021: Celebrated all across India, the festival of Krishna Janmashtami commemorates the birth of Lord Krishna, the eighth avatar of Vishnu. To mark the celebrations, devotees decorate their homes and temples with flowers, observe a fast, offer prayers, sing devotional songs and participate in the Dahi Handi ceremony.
