As Delhi’s vaccination drive for the 18-44 age group came to a halt on Saturday, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal gave suggestions to centre to ramp up the vaccination.

Giving the four suggestions to the central government, Arvind Kejriwal said: "All vaccine makers in India, within 24 hours, should be ordered to manufacture Bharat Biotech's Covaxin to ramp up stocks."

Further he said, the centre should speak to international vaccine manufacturers, buy from them and distribute to states.

Some countries "have stocked more vaccines than they need and the centre should request these nations to give the excess to India," the Chief Minister added.

International vaccine manufacturers should be given permission to manufacture in India, he underlined as his final suggestion.
