Jostling Jehlum

River Jehlum has turned into a sewer for Srinagar. Most drains empty into this water-body that flows through Kashmir. The water is polluted to the extent that people are not even ready to bath in it. Once used to drink and ablute, the water in Jhelum is full of slit and trash. Besides sewage, plastic pollution is also heavily impacting this prized water body.
