Jignesh Mevani slams Gujarat govt: 3000 kg drug brought in to lure unemployed youth

Gujarat Dalit leader Jignesh Mevani on Tuesday extended the support to the Congress. Though he did not formally join the party as he is an independent MLA, he said he is a 'part of the Congress ideologically'.

He explained that if he joins the party he will not be able to continue as MLA but added that he will contest upcoming Gujarat polls from a Congress ticket

Hitting out at the BJP, he said Gujarat has already witnessed what India is facing today.

Slamming the BJP led Gujarat govt, Mevani alleged 3000kg of drug was brought in to lure 15 to 20 lakhs unemployed people. He further claimed that instead of providing employment, the youth are being turned into addicts.
