The first song from Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur-starrer 'Jersey' is out.
'Mehram' highlights the emotional journey of Shahid's character who wants to play for team India once again.
The song gives glimpses of Shahid’s character’s emotional journey, making a return to the field of cricket all over again, his training sessions and him reminiscing his heroic past.
It also showcases Shahid's relationship with Mrunal Thakur, who plays the role of his wife in the film.
Sung by Sachet Tandon, 'Mehram' is composed by the duo Sachet-Parampara. 'Jersey' is a remake of a Telugu National Award winning movie of the same name, it hits theatres on December 31, 2021.
